COVID-19
The spread of COVID-19 is impacting the lives of each and every one of us and this is particularly true for the current residents of our Almshouse. Due to evidence that elderly people are likely to be at most risk from COVID-19, Dulwich Almshouse Charity is strictly following all Government advice as regards social distancing measures and protection of high-risk individuals.
In order to fully adhere to social distancing measures, we have sadly had to cancel group activities for the residents for the time being. However, we have put a number of initiatives in place to support them through this period. This includes ensuring each resident continues to have the opportunity of daily contact with the scheme manager or warden on the phone and that residents' family and friends can provide assistance with essential medicines, groceries and any other necessary supplies.
